Brave, generous creatures,

We
have somethings of a most exciting nature to share with you all.

Four of our wonderful loves have offered
additional prizes that you can win with the purchase of a 2Spirit Warrior
Society Raffle Ticket.  Tickets are $5
each and a name will be drawn for each prize in the raffle.

 https://2spiritwsraffle.tumblr.com/

Every buck raised through this raffle will
go directly to 2Spirit Indigenous Warriors throwing down on the ground against
the Dakota Access Pipeline.  We are in
direct communication with this crew as it is made up of some of the people we
love dearly.  Times are desperate with the raid yesterday and arrest of 76 Water Protectors and ongoing raids today at Sacred Stone.  The
2Spirit Warrior Society are gearing up to mobilize and we are pushing to meet
our fundraising goals in order to ensure they have a reliable ride for arctic
conditions to make it to court dates, actions and reach medical aid when needed.

From this need, love and solidarity have
come these incredible gifts from queer artists across Turtle Island.

Artist Nick Berger, (they/them) is an artist and musician living on occupied
Pocomtuc Territories in so-called greenfield massachusetts who has donated a 6″ hoop
custom embroidery of anything you want!

You can check out more of their work here <3

bubzee is an octopus from the west, who
reaches into dreams with her many arms and pulls free from them the thick globs
of paint stuck to the innards of our eyelids that she looks at when she is
dreaming.  bubzee offers 3 pretty patches
as gifts for you to win through the raffle.

Bug Crü, a queer metis artist,
illustrator and tattooist living on un-ceded and occupied Coast Salish
territories has contributed a print, ((Ø)),
to help raise funds for the 2Spirit Warrior Society.

draws and tattoos on Pocomtuc territory and there is an original drawing by her
own hand among the treasures that the luck of the draw may provide to you.

So dear feral ones, in the spirit of
mutual aid and all that is still wild and ungovernable upon the body of the
earth, support the 2 Spirit Warrior Society and all the artists, healers and
makers who have contributed their labours.

Please contribute financially if you
can by entering the raffle and share our updates broadly with your family,
friends, co-workers, co-conspirators, lovers, bio fams…

Dear wild ones,

Thank you!

With your help we’ve sold over 100
tickets in support of the 2Spirit Warrior Society, the people we love on the
ground fighting the Black Snake; The Dakota Access Pipeline.

With only 2 weeks left we still need the support of many more
people in order to reach our goal of selling 2000 tickets.

This means we need you.  We need you to help spread the word to
everyone among your webs of interconnection so that we can get resources to 2Spirit Indigenous Land Defenders.  The fight on the ground is not over, the violence has not abated, the need for support only grows.

image

A friend of ours recently wrote to us and
said, “The white supremacist colonial
heteropatriarchal state is trying to kill us. still.  And we will only survive
in relation to each other.”

She means us, all of us, and that
includes you. <3

The incredible contributions from artists
are offerings; gifts shared in mutual aid with all the people, you,
contributing money to ensure on the ground warriors have what they need to
protect themselves, the water, the land, the air, the medicines.

This fight is real and the necessity of us
contributing what we are able in the many ways we can is growing.  Please share what you have and take care of each other out there.

Spread the word to your friends in
all the ways possible.

https://2spiritwsraffle.tumblr.com/

And extend to them our gratitude.  We likely have not met, and maybe we never
will, but we are connected in this fight for our lives and the lives of those we love.

Dearest loves,

Allow us to be absolutely clear.

Our love is a queer love.

Our love is brown. Our love is fat.  Our love throws molotovs.  Our love protects the water.  Our love is indigenous.  Our love is autistic.  Our love is trans.  Our love is consensual.  Our love is black.  Our love is resistance.  Our love grabs back. Our love destroys pipelines.  Our love is disabled.  Our love spray paints acab, and blm, and
nodapl.  Our love is
#nocopsonoutreach.  Our love is a
decolonial love.  And our love is
ungovernable.

The appropriation and co-optation of love
by capitalism, colonialism, white supremacy and hetero-patriarchy wrenches the
sharp teeth from the jaws of love.

For our love is both tender and ferocious.

In honour of celebrating the ferocity and
queerness of our love we want to share a print donated to the 2Spirit Warrior
Society Raffle
by an artist we love dearly.

image

‘Dandelion’, by trans, mixed race
indigenous artist beyon wren moor is an ocean of queer love.  When a beloved friend and 2Spirit Nahua land
defender, Xóchítl Pāpalōtl Ramírez, was hospitalized and in a coma this painting was
created for them.  ‘Dandelion’ has been
shared across Turtle Island as an act of love to facilitate mutual aid and
support a beloved warrior; a warrior who is a reminder of the power of love to
all who know them.

A warrior who makes this world more livable
just by their presence within it.

image

Growing up as a broken branch, passed
between the limbs of a family tree, torched and decayed through generations of
colonial violence and genocide, beyon’s work exposes intergenerational trauma
and its roots in the continued state violence towards indigenous peoples.

beyon is the powerful love of her ancestors made
living in a present time when a decolonial love is desperately needed to turn
the tides of fear and hate.

And you are
too.

image

Please help us support the ones we love
fight for the land, fight for the water, fight for the medicine and fight for
each other.  Enter the 2Spirit Warrior
Society raffle
for a chance to win a limited edition print of ‘Dandelion’.

https://2spiritwsraffle.tumblr.com/

You can also purchase and support beyon’s work directly through the Voices: Indigenous Women on the Front Lines Speak online store.

http://voicesbook.storenvy.com/

And love fiercely dear ones.  Love each other so hard that we are full to
the brim and ready to face our enemies.
Love courageously.  And remember,
in the times that feel dark and the times that feel impossible that you are
deeply loved.

We need you and you are loved.

Dear hearts of resistance, today, as
thousands continue taking it to the streets, we want to feature one of our contributors
to the 2Spirit Warrior Society raffle, Cea Wiley, a practicing herbalist.   Because we see you.  We see you on the countless front lines,
front lines to protect the water, the medicine, the air, front lines to end the
violence enacted by the state on black and brown bodies, front lines breaking
down dangerous gender binaries, front lines to keep each other alive as fentanyl
has added to a drug war that has grown in crescendo to a crisis.

You are survivor and resistor both.  And trauma is real.

Your health, the health of the land and
the water and the air are interconnected.
Your healing is resistance, it is part of this struggle we walk each
day.  Caring for yourself, caring for
each other and healing is part of our important work so we can be strong for
ourselves and one another.

Cea Wiley, a trans, queer herbalist and
anarchist, who has generously donated 3 herbal consultations, to our raffle
raising funds for the 2Spirit Warrior Society, works from this place.  This place where our survival is our
resistance and the way one practices medicines is a part of dismantling forces
of colonialism, white supremacy and cis-heteropatriarchy.

Cea Wiley practices herbalism drawing
from their training as a street medic and licensed EMT-B. Using harm reduction
models, Cea strives to empower their clients to look at and make informed
decisions for themselves and their health.

To have a chance to win 1 of 3 herbal
consultations with Cea
enter our raffle and help us support our dear friends in
the 2Spirit Warrior Society as they throw down in the fight against the Dakota
Access Pipeline.

You can also connect with Cea directly
to learn more about their services and book a consultation with them here:

brighthollowmedicinals.wordpress.com

Cea prioritizes a low-cost practice,
acknowledging class disparities stemming from as well as reinforcing racism,
colonization, gender, ability and resource accessibility.

Be careful with each other dear ones,
so you can be dangerous together!

Solidarity with the 2Spirit Warrior Society

January 19, 2017

Dear ones,

The fires continue to
burn at Standing Rock and all along the body of the Black Snake.  New
fires are being lit each day as Indigenous resistance spreads.  We are
gathering at our own points among the growing constellations to offer support
and fuel the fires of front lines as Queer and 2Spirit artists, organizers and
healers in solidarity.

We invite you to join
us through directly contributing to this fundraiser and sharing our work with
your own constellations of people until the blaze of our resistance is truly
unquenchable.

Many generous and
wonderful artists, makers and healers have contributed incredible services,
hand crafted gifts and works of art to this raffle in support of the 2Spirit
Warrior Society.

Works include limited
edition prints by artists Noel’le Longhaul, beyon wren moor and Annie Banks, a
handcrafted book by Emi Lynn Holler, original stick and poke tattoos by Kiala
and photographic prints by Amber Bracken and Wulfgang Zapf.  Tender hearts
have also contributed hand made clothing, massages, herbal consultations and
more.  The combined monetary value of all raffle items is over $2000 in
so-called canadian dollars.

All proceeds raised
through this raffle will go directly to the purchase of a 4×4 truck, trailer
and yurt for members of the 2Spirit Warrior Society to support their continued
struggle against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

To view the prizes,

Solidarity With Two Spirit Warrior Society

December 30, 2016

Solidarity With Two Spirit Warrior Society

At Standing Rock and across the expansive, multi-state, length of the Dakota Access Pipeline, Water Protectors are risking everything to lay down their medicine, send up their prayers and place their bodies in the way of the Black Snake.  This struggle continues, the Black Snake has not yet been defeated.

Among these Water Protectors are our 2Spirit comrades who have been throwing down since the beginning, who commit to continue the fight on the ground to protect, land, water, air and all the creatures of our Mother Earth.

Recently two very close friends of ours, St’at’imc and Anishinape Water Protectors, have reached out for support and much needed resources.

These 2 Water Protectors have been central to the establishment of a 2Spirit Warrior Society throwing down in the struggle against DAPL.  It was established so that 2Spirit Water Protectors who are not Pacifists nor their apologists, can be true to themselves among people with shared experiences while coordinating for themselves and in collaboration with other camps involved at Standing Rock.  Unsurprisingly the 2Spirit crew does not receive a lot of visibility, which as we know is not always safe and desirable, and thus a lot of the resources do not make it to them.

In response to this call from our loved ones we have committed to coordinate support from afar and so have reached out further to our Queer and 2Spirit network of Land Defender friends in so-called Vancouver, Oakland California, NY, Seattle and Great Falls MA to create a small core of coordinators across turtle island in solidarity.

Our friends have communicated that they need a 4×4 truck with a trailer.  This will help them move materials, get their crew to actions and get their crew to their court dates.

They have also asked for a Yurt so that they have adequate shelter to hold it down.

We are currently coordinating with friends to source, purchase and deliver these needed items.  What we need from you is the funds to make all this possible.

If you have any questions please direct them to: twospirit2016@gmail.com

Helping Kwiadda Get to the Unist’ot’en Youth Art Camp!

July 14, 2016

Hello Lovelies,

 Thank you so much to
everyone who contributed to raising funds for Kwiadda to attend the
Unist’ot’en Art camp next week either by making a donation or sharing
the call with your networks.

 We’ve raised $190 so far
and Goot-Ges needs just $150 more to make it happen.  If you know of
anyone who may be able to contribute or were meaning to make a donation
later it would be so amazing to reach this goal.

image

We’ll be joining Goot-Ges and her three kids at the vigil for Joey English in unceded Musqeum, Squamish, and Tseil Watuth Territories on Friday and then driving up North together stopping in
Enderby ‘bc’ to show our support to the “Protect Human Rights of our
Splatsin Ancestors Burial Place.“
We plan to post some updates via
video and photos to our blog and insta if you want to see how we’re all
doing en route.  <3

E-transfers can be sent to yakguudang@gmail.com

So much love to you all!
