Leave your mark.

Leave your mark everywhere you can so that
white fascism and cis supremacy drowns in a sea of your stories.

Leave your message scrawled on street
corners, written on the walls, painted on the bus stops over body shaming
advertisements, on misogynist billboards, across slurs on bathroom stalls.  Transform their hate everywhere you find it.

Just because they can buy the spaces on the
sides of buildings and buses, along the highways and park benches does not make
it theirs.

These cities are stolen land and you are
the mutineers within them.

All you need is a spray can, a marker, some
paper, flour, water and your friends.

Leave your mark.

Leave your mark everywhere.

Take a page from Octavia’s books and write
yourself into the present and into the future.   Write stories, create art, make zines, play
music, keep a blog, tattoo your friends.

Every space is an opportunity.  Leave constellations for others to follow to
learn from and grow out of.  We are not
alone, you are not alone, we are many and we are fighting, surviving, loving and
dreaming alongside you.  Make it so each
time we go outside we cannot help, but stumble upon you, a reflection of
ourselves, our resistance and our dreams.

One of the contributions to the 2Spirit
Warrior Society Raffle are 2 two hour tattoo collaborations with queer artist and
tattooist Kiala.

https://2spiritwsraffle.tumblr.com/

Kiala’s works explore their own and shared
stories of queer existence, chart narratives of resistance and dream other
realities into being.   For many of us our survival is resistance,
leaving our mark is courageous, and making art of our dreams transformative.

This prize is available to anyone on Lkwungen and W̱ŚANÉC territories, or
down to travel to collaborate on a tattoo for you with Kiala.

You can support Kiala’s work directly
here:  http://artbykiala.com/handpoked

And leave your mark.

Leave your mark everywhere because art is
too powerful to be contained in the white walls of galleries and you are too
important to not tell your story.

Sacheen, top right, and her family returned home to their ancestral land after 4 months with Red Warrior at Standing Rock to find themselves evicted from their home.

Support warrior families.  Sacheen and her family still need to raise $3000 to cover the costs of moving their entire lives off the small island of Ahousaht.

Please share this fundraiser with everyone you know.

Dearest loves,

Allow us to be absolutely clear.

Our love is a queer love.

Our love is brown. Our love is fat.  Our love throws molotovs.  Our love protects the water.  Our love is indigenous.  Our love is autistic.  Our love is trans.  Our love is consensual.  Our love is black.  Our love is resistance.  Our love grabs back. Our love destroys pipelines.  Our love is disabled.  Our love spray paints acab, and blm, and
nodapl.  Our love is
#nocopsonoutreach.  Our love is a
decolonial love.  And our love is
ungovernable.

The appropriation and co-optation of love
by capitalism, colonialism, white supremacy and hetero-patriarchy wrenches the
sharp teeth from the jaws of love.

For our love is both tender and ferocious.

In honour of celebrating the ferocity and
queerness of our love we want to share a print donated to the 2Spirit Warrior
Society Raffle
by an artist we love dearly.

‘Dandelion’, by trans, mixed race
indigenous artist beyon wren moor is an ocean of queer love.  When a beloved friend and 2Spirit Nahua land
defender, Xóchítl Pāpalōtl Ramírez, was hospitalized and in a coma this painting was
created for them.  ‘Dandelion’ has been
shared across Turtle Island as an act of love to facilitate mutual aid and
support a beloved warrior; a warrior who is a reminder of the power of love to
all who know them.

A warrior who makes this world more livable
just by their presence within it.

image

Growing up as a broken branch, passed
between the limbs of a family tree, torched and decayed through generations of
colonial violence and genocide, beyon’s work exposes intergenerational trauma
and its roots in the continued state violence towards indigenous peoples.

beyon is the powerful love of her ancestors made
living in a present time when a decolonial love is desperately needed to turn
the tides of fear and hate.

And you are
too.

Please help us support the ones we love
fight for the land, fight for the water, fight for the medicine and fight for
each other.  Enter the 2Spirit Warrior
Society raffle
for a chance to win a limited edition print of ‘Dandelion’.

You can also purchase and support beyon’s work directly through the Voices: Indigenous Women on the Front Lines Speak online store.

And love fiercely dear ones.  Love each other so hard that we are full to
the brim and ready to face our enemies.
Love courageously.  And remember,
in the times that feel dark and the times that feel impossible that you are
deeply loved.

We need you and you are loved.

Dear hearts of resistance, today, as
thousands continue taking it to the streets, we want to feature one of our contributors
to the 2Spirit Warrior Society raffle, Cea Wiley, a practicing herbalist.   Because we see you.  We see you on the countless front lines,
front lines to protect the water, the medicine, the air, front lines to end the
violence enacted by the state on black and brown bodies, front lines breaking
down dangerous gender binaries, front lines to keep each other alive as fentanyl
has added to a drug war that has grown in crescendo to a crisis.

You are survivor and resistor both.  And trauma is real.

Your health, the health of the land and
the water and the air are interconnected.
Your healing is resistance, it is part of this struggle we walk each
day.  Caring for yourself, caring for
each other and healing is part of our important work so we can be strong for
ourselves and one another.

Cea Wiley, a trans, queer herbalist and
anarchist, who has generously donated 3 herbal consultations, to our raffle
raising funds for the 2Spirit Warrior Society, works from this place.  This place where our survival is our
resistance and the way one practices medicines is a part of dismantling forces
of colonialism, white supremacy and cis-heteropatriarchy.

Cea Wiley practices herbalism drawing
from their training as a street medic and licensed EMT-B. Using harm reduction
models, Cea strives to empower their clients to look at and make informed
decisions for themselves and their health.

To have a chance to win 1 of 3 herbal
consultations with Cea
enter our raffle and help us support our dear friends in
the 2Spirit Warrior Society as they throw down in the fight against the Dakota
Access Pipeline.

You can also connect with Cea directly
to learn more about their services and book a consultation with them here:

Cea prioritizes a low-cost practice,
acknowledging class disparities stemming from as well as reinforcing racism,
colonization, gender, ability and resource accessibility.

Be careful with each other dear ones,
so you can be dangerous together!

Solidarity with the 2Spirit Warrior Society

January 19, 2017

Dear ones,

The fires continue to
burn at Standing Rock and all along the body of the Black Snake.  New
fires are being lit each day as Indigenous resistance spreads.  We are
gathering at our own points among the growing constellations to offer support
and fuel the fires of front lines as Queer and 2Spirit artists, organizers and
healers in solidarity.

We invite you to join
us through directly contributing to this fundraiser and sharing our work with
your own constellations of people until the blaze of our resistance is truly
unquenchable.

Many generous and
wonderful artists, makers and healers have contributed incredible services,
hand crafted gifts and works of art to this raffle in support of the 2Spirit
Warrior Society.

Works include limited
edition prints by artists Noel’le Longhaul, beyon wren moor and Annie Banks, a
handcrafted book by Emi Lynn Holler, original stick and poke tattoos by Kiala
and photographic prints by Amber Bracken and Wulfgang Zapf.  Tender hearts
have also contributed hand made clothing, massages, herbal consultations and
more.  The combined monetary value of all raffle items is over $2000 in
so-called canadian dollars.

All proceeds raised
through this raffle will go directly to the purchase of a 4×4 truck, trailer
and yurt for members of the 2Spirit Warrior Society to support their continued
struggle against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

To view the prizes,
purchase tickets and learn more about the 2Spirit Warrior Society and the
ongoing resistance to the Black Snake visit:
